Nova Girl colored

Poor , I told her that I would draw her OC tied within a week; but that week ended up being months. But school needed my attention at the time.

Now that its here, lets go over the details. This is actually my second attempt at drawing Nova GIrl tied up. The first one is in the scraps (see [link] for details).

Many will disagree with me, but I still don't think it good enough. Prismacolor markers are very versatile tools, but I'm far too inept to get full use of them. All my previous marker drawings are flat colors over pencil (or the occasional inked lineart). This time, I really wanted something new out of my work. Instead of slapping on a flat color, I mixed and splotched assorted colors to make something a little more lively and vibrant. I also used the clear bender heavily for smooth mixing. The character has white hair, but white on its own was boring. So I added some purplish colors to give the hair more depth and tone.

Overall, I still have a long way to go before I can truly call myself an 'artist'. This position the character is in is still dull (but then again, what else can a tied up female do). I will give myself some credit, after I scanned this, it looked much better than the actual paper itself.
